Two alumni featured in this year’s JoAnn Falletta International Guitar Concerto Competition in Buffalo, N.Y. Ben Beirs (BM ’06, MM ’07, GPD ’09) and Mark Edwards (MM ’09, Guitar) were two of nine semi-finalists in the competition. The two guitarists also performed outreach concerts at several local schools and hospitals in Buffalo.
