Sarah Meneely-Kyder

Sarah Meneely-Kyder (MM ’69, Composition) is on the music faculty at Wesleyan University, where she has been teaching piano, chamber music, and composition for 21 years.  This year, she was commissioned to write an oratorio, LETTER FROM ITALY, 1944, for the Greater Middletown Chorale which will be premiered on April 27-28, 2013.  She is currently composer-in-residence and have taken a one- year leave from Wesleyan to be able to write this work for chorus, soloists and orchestra without other professional interruptions.
