Mark Lanz Weiser (BM ’91, Piano; MM ’93, Composition) recently had his Moments Musicale for Alto Saxophone and Piano featured at the 2012 World Saxophone Congress held in St. Andews, Scotland. The performance given July 14 was by saxophonist David Stambler (MM ’93, Saxophone) and pianist Hannah Creviston. Other recent performances include: Triptych for chamber ensemble, performed October, ’11 by the University of Southern California’s Contemporary Music Ensemble, Donald Crockett, music director; Kegelstatt Funk performed by the Kegekstatt Trio in February, ‘12; and Three Bollywood Dances given multiple performances throughout the US by the Helix Collective.
