Christopher Buchanan, a Doctor of Musical Arts in trumpet and a Master of Music in musicology candidate, has had a work, Sonata 18 from Canzone e Sonate of G. Gabrieli, published and will be performing it with the United States Naval Academy Band on Dec. 16, at 4:00 pm, at Chizuk Amuno Synagogue, 8100 Stevenson Road.
