The Dahlia Flute Duo 
(Mary Matthews, MM ’10 Flute and Melissa Wertheimer, MM ’10 Piccolo) reunited in Baltimore to compete in the 2013 Howard County Rising Star awards and were selected as one of three instrumental music finalists. The final round will be held on March 23 – with a chance to win $5,000 based on audience votes.
