Both winners of the Columbia Orchestra’s 2013 Young Artist Competition are members of Pre-Conservatory Violin Program (PCVP). Andrew Kwon won the Senior Division String Category and Jeremy Hess won the Junior Division. They study with Herbert Greenberg and Rebecca Henry, respectively. Also in the junior division, cellist Caleb Park was named alternate and honorable mentions were awarded to violinists Nicholas Kim and Megan Rabe. They are students of Alison Wells, Metthew Horwitz-Lee, and Rebecca Henry. Lisa Choi, flute student of Rachel Choe, won the Senior Division Wind Category. All will perform with the Columbia Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, June 1 at 7:30 pm.
