Colin Sorgi will perform in Carnegie Hall Professional Training Workshop

Graduate Diploma candidate Colin Sorgi (BM ’09, Violin) has been invited to participate in the prestigious upcoming Carnegie Hall Professional Training Workshop with John Adams and David Robertson. The program focuses on American contemporary music for small ensembles and culminates in two performances in Carnegie’s Zankel Hall in New York City on April 23 and 24. He is currently the Artistic Director of the Baltimore-based SONAR new music ensemble and was a recent member of the Aspen Contemporary Ensemble at the Aspen Music Festival. He has performed alongside members of Alarm Will Sound, Ensemble Intercontemporain and has worked directly with composers such as Kevin Puts, Sydney Hodkinson, and Pierre Boulez.
