Monica Songs, a newly commissioned work by Jonathan Leshnoff (BA ’95, Anthropology; BM ’95, MM ’97, Composition), will receive its world premiere performance on October 13 at UC Berkeley. The performance will feature soprano Jessica Rivera and pianist Robert Spano. A five-city tour of the work will also include performances in Atlanta, Malibu, Cincinnati, and New York at Carnegie Hall.
