Uncle Alex, a 20-minute opera composed by doctoral candidate Joshua Bornfield and librettist Caitlin Vincent (MM ’09, Voice), was one of three pieces performed as part of the Washington National Opera’s American Opera Initiative program at the Kennedy Center.
