The newest recording by the Serafin String Quartet, with Lisa Vaupel (MM ’96, Violin), was named Top 10 Classical Albums of 2013 by Philadelphia’s City Paper. The disc, released by Naxos in July 2013, is referred to as an “excellently performed selection of early works by Philly’s own Jennifer Higdon.”
