Voice Alumna Make Carnegie Hall Debut

Soprano Natalie Conte (MM ’06, Voice) and mezzo-soprano Kate Jackman (MM ’11, Voice) will make their Carnegie Hall debut on Monday, January 13, 2014, with The Song Continues: Marilyn Horne Master Class as part of Marilyn Horne’s The Song Continues Festival.

Joshua Walden’s book published by Oxford University Press

Joshua Walden’s book Sounding Authentic: The Rural Miniature and Musical Modernism has been published by Oxford University Press, in the AMS Studies in Music Series. The book is supported by the Claire and Barry Brook Endowment of the American Musicological Society, funded in part by the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

Handong Park won Baltimore Youth Symphony concerto competition
