DMA wind conducting student Christy Muncey will participate in the Nordic Wind Band Conference Conductors Competition on March 12-14 in Järvenpää, Finland. Muncey is one of twenty conductors from nine different countries to qualify for the competition.
Asha Srinivasan (MM ’03, Music Theory Pedagogy; MM ’04, Computer Music, Composition) was granted tenure and promoted to Associate Professor at Lawrence University, where she joined the faculty in 2008. Before attending Peabody, Srinivasan studied at Goucher with Peabody alumnus Kendall Kennison (DMA ’96, Composition).
