Soprano Annie Gill (GPD ’08, Voice) and tenor Curtis Bannister (GPD ’10, Voice) are among the ten finalists in the Rising Star Emerging Performing Artist Award Competition, competing for a cash prize of $5,000. The competition is part of the 17th Annual Celebration of the Arts in Howard County, showcasing and promoting the arts and raising funds in support of the arts, artists, and arts organizations in Howard County. The competition will take place on March 29 at the Horowitz Performing Arts Center at Howard Community College in Columbia.
