Joseph Young appointed Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Assistant Conductor

joseph-young-stage980.ashxJoseph Young (AD ’09, Conducting) has been named the new Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Assistant Conductor and Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra Music Director.  Young will begin his duties with the ASO on June 1, and will assume the role of Music Director of the ASYO in the 2014-15 season.  Young spoke with WABE, Atlanta’s NPR station about his recent appointment: “A Young Conductor for the ASO.”
