Donald Waxman was composer-in-residence at New Music Festival

waxmanDonald Waxman (TC ’49, Harmony & Composition) was a composer-in-residence at the 2013 New Music Festival of the Lynn Conservatory.  Last May, his former composition student Andrew Boss won the Delillo Award for having written the most outstanding composition of the year. In 1948 and 1949, while studying with Elliott Carter, Waxman won a similar award, which was then called the Gustav Klemm Prize.
