Nadia Jo accolades

Preparatory student, Performance Academy for Strings member, and Young Artists Orchestra principal cellist Nadia Jo has recently earned several awards. In Fall 2013, she earned Honorable Mention in the Asian American Music Society International Competition and Honorable Mention in the Washington Music Teachers Association Strings Competition. She earned third place in the American Protege International Concerto Competition, with a solo performance in Carnegie Hall coming up in November. In addition, Jo was awarded second place in the Washington Performing Arts Society Feder Memorial String Competition and first place in the Rockville Piano and Strings Competition. Jo also received an Artistic Merit Award for Indiana University Jacobs School of Music Summer String Academy. Jo studies with Daniel Levitov.
