Charles Halka’s (BM ’06, Piano; MM ’08, Composition, Music Theory Pedagogy) latest orchestral work, Impact, will receive its world premiere by the Mexican Symphony Orchestra on May 16 in the Palacio de Bellas Artes. It will be the opening work in the inaugural concert of the 36th annual Foro Internacional de Música Nueva in Mexico City.
