Music Theory faculty member Joel Puckett has been commissioned to write a symphony for Mallory Thompson, conductor of the Northwestern University’s Symphonic Wind Ensemble, as part of the dedication of school’s new Bienen School of Music building. The work will be premiered in 2015-2016 season.
