Faculty artist Victoria Chiang, a member of the Aspen String Trio along with David Perry and Michael Mermagen, will be performing with the ensemble as part of their residency at the University of Baltimore. The concert, entitled Degenerate Composers, is centered on music suppressed by the Third Reich. It features works written during the Holocaust by the composers Hans Gal, Gideon Klein, and Hans Krasa. The concert is on November 4 at 7 pm in the Wright Theater on the fifth floor of the UB Student Center. It will also include enlightening commentary provided by WBJC radio personality Jonathan Palevsky.
