On December 5 at 12:00 pm, vocal ensemble The New Consort (Julie Bosworth, MM ’13, Early Music, soprano; Sonya Knussen, GPD ’11, Voice, alto; Jacob Perry, tenor; current master’s student Brian Mummert, baritone & Artistic Director) will present ARISE AND WAKE: 800 Years of Carols, in the sculpture court of the Walters Art Museum, 600 North Charles Street. The program includes carols from the 15th-century Selden and Ritson Manuscripts, new compositions by Peter Maxwell Davies, Andrew Smith, and Richard Rodney Bennett, and holiday favorites from every era.
