William Davenport (BM ’11, Voice), tenor and Jenni Bank (BM ’06, Voice), mezzo-soprano (reported before), both students of Stanley Cornett at Peabody, are 2015 Regional Winners in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions. They both will compete in the 2015 National Semi-Finals, as two of 17 contestants, on the stage of The Metropolitan Opera in New York on March 15, with a chance to advance to the Grand Finals Concert on March 22 with The Metropolitan Opera Orchestra.
