Preparatory harp faculty member Anastasia Pike (MM ’07, Harp), a former student of Jeanne Chalifoux, has established a harp department at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia.
Dr. Pike’s research interests include assessment and evaluation of music in higher education, musician biographies, music and medicine, and interdisciplinary music education. She will be presenting at the 2015 College Music Society’s National Conference.
