Hollis Robbins Publishes in New Volume, Mapping Region in Early American Writing

mapping-region-200x300Humanities Department Chair Hollis Robbins recently published “African American Literature of the Gold Rush,” co-authored with Janet Neary (Hunter College), in a a new volume, Mapping Region in Early American Writing (University of Georgia Press, 2015), a collection of essays that study how early American writers assessed the spaces around them. Contributors reconsidered the various roles regions played in the formation of American communities, both real and imagined. Read more here.
