On Friday, December 11, at 8:00 pm freshman guitarist Junhong Kuang will hold a recital at Symphony Space in New York. This will be the 15-year-old’s first full-length New York concert. The program features works by Sanz, Bach, Sor, Giuliani, Castelnuovo-Tedesco, and Albéniz. Mr. Kuang won first prize in the Thailand International Guitar Competition in November 2011 and has since given the opening concert at the 23rd International Guitar Symposium in Iserlohn, Germany.
