Lawrence Manchester (BM ’94, Percussion; BM ’95 Recording Arts and Sciences) and Josiah Gluck, who studied recording arts at Peabody, were featured at the 139th International Audio Engineering Society Conference as panelists on the “Grammy SoundTable: After Hours—Mixing for Late Night New York” panel. Mr. Manchester is a Grammy Award-winning music producer, engineer, and mixer of albums, film, television, and theater. His credits include U2, Bruce Springsteen, Beyoncé, Martin Scorsese’s The Departed, and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Josiah Gluck, a three-time Grammy nominee, is co-music engineer for Saturday Night Live and has worked with the likes of Sir Paul McCartney, B.B. King, Jay-Z, and Adele. The convention took place on October 29 to November 1 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City.
