WBJC 91.5 FM and Peabody Conservatory Join Forces to Broadcast “Peabody Today”

scan_jpeg_versionThis Saturday, November 28, Peabody and WBJC 91.5 FM will launch “Peabody Today,” a new broadcast series of faculty and student performances recorded live during the 2015-16 concert season. The first broadcast will feature a recent performance of the Peabody Singers under the direction of Director of Choral Activities Edward Polochick, which will air in its entirety on WBJC program director Jonathan Palevsky’s “Music in Maryland” program. Founded in 1951, WBJC is a public, non-commercial radio station which broadcasts a 24-hours-a-day schedule of classical music and arts information programming to more than 200,000 listeners weekly across Maryland, the District of Columbia, and portions of the surrounding states.
