One Great City Duo, comprised of alumni Timothy Sherren (BM ’11, Guitar), guitar, and Alexandra Iranfar (BM ’11, Guitar), guitar and voice, was featured in an article on Examiner.com for their recent CD release, Excursions, produced by guitarist Sérgio Assad. The album, released Saturday, February 6, is available for preview and purchase from CD Baby, and features original arrangements by Mr. Sherren of Barber’s “Excursions” suite, and of works by Cole Porter, Ned Rorem, and Pat Metheny, as well as three short pieces by Celso Machado.
