Symphony Number One, a local chamber orchestra comprised of and run by Peabody students and alumni, will perform works by Peabody student, faculty, and alumni composers at Light City Baltimore on Saturday, April 2. The program features works by faculty artist Joel Puckett, alumnus Andrew Boss (MM ’13, Composition), and composition students Alexa Rinn, Ben Kapilow, Sean William Calhoun, and Jonathan Hugendubler, as well as works by Pierre Boulez, Jon Russel, Dylan Arthur Baker, Ben Goldberg, Dan Van Hassel, and Paul Richards. The album was recorded and produced by Charles Street Sound, co-founded by Daniel Rorke (MA ’15, Audio Sciences) and master’s recording arts student Arun Ravendhran.
