Jazz faculty member Michael Formanek’s ensemble group Kollosus to be featured in Bielsko-Biala, Poland and Helsinki, Finland

Jazz faculty member Michael Formanek’s ensemble group Kolossus will be featured at the Jazz Autumn Festival in Bielsko-Biala, Poland on November 18. They will be performing the material from their second solo album “The Distance” for the event. Shortly after, Mr. Formanek and Kolossus will be traveling to Helsinki, Finland, where Mr. Formanek will teach at the Sibelius Academy and Kolossus will rehearse and perform with the academy’s alumni big band.
