Mezzo-Soprano Jennifer Mayer, a first year masters candidate in the studio of Steven Rainbolt, and mezzo-soprano Elizabeth Sarian, a second year masters candidate in the studio of Stanley Cornett, won Encouragement Awards at the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions in the Mid-Atlantic Region on November 6.
