Zuill Bailey Named Artistic Director of UTEP’s New Center for Arts Entrepreneurship

Kalamazoo-2Recent Grammy Award recipient Zuill Bailey (BM ’94, Cello) has been named the artistic director of University of Texas at El Paso Department of Music’s new Center for Arts Entrepreneurship that is set to open in the fall. The center will engage students in a variety of projects and workshops geared around résumé enhancement, creating digital portfolios, audience development, and creating performance opportunities. Additionally, the center will work with local arts groups to train musicians in marketing, audience development, media relations, grant writing, fundraising, and performing a wide range of music and styles in a variety of settings.  El Paso Pro-Musica’s Young Artist Development Series, El Paso Pro-Musica and the Peabody Institute’s partnership series, will partner with the center for its artist-in-residency program.
