On August 21, faculty composer Judah Adashi (MM ’02, DMA ’11, Composition) and Lavena Johanson (MM ’13, Cello) performed a show for the Live Music Project at Naked City Brewery & Taphouse in Seattle, Wa. They played songs paired with solo cello pieces: by Adashi, Björk, Bryce Dessner, and Caroline Shaw. Then on August 25, cellist Eric Byers of the Calder Quartet performed my heart comes undone at the Carlsbad Music Festival in Carlsbad, Ca.
