Faculty artist Lura Johnson (‘01, Piano) will open the Chamber Music Society of Maryland‘s concert season with concertmaster of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Jonathan Carney in a recital of LeClair, Beethoven, and Brahms on Sunday, September 17, at 3:00 pm. Their season continues with Xiaohui Yang, piano, the winner of the 2018 Yale Gordon Peabody Competition, on November 5; faculty artist Amit Peled, cello, with his students in a Cellobration on March 25; and Zane Forshee (MM ’01, GPD ’03, DMA ’11, Guitar) and Max Zuckerman (BM ’07, GPD ’09, Guitar), Duo Guitars, on April 22. DMA candidate Michael Repper is the artistic director of CMSMD.
