An Die Musik will feature multiple Peabody faculty members in December. Faculty artist Katherine Needleman will give a solo oboe recital at An Die Musik on Saturday, December 2, at 2:00 pm. She will feature works by Bach, Debussy, Britten, and Silvestrini. Amit Peled, cello, will perform in conjunction with the release of his children’s book, A Cello Named Pablo. This event will take place on Sunday, December 17, at 10:00 am, and is free. Doctoral candidate Teodora Adzharova, piano, will give a recital on Tuesday, December 19, at 8:00 pm. She will feature works by Schumann and Shostakovich. Finally, Dariusz Skoraczewski (BM ’94, GPD ’96, Cello) will present the complete Bach cello suites in two parts, with part one on Sunday, December 31, at 2:00 pm, and the second on Saturday, January 6, at 2:00 pm.
