Preparatory student Alisha Stafford, violin, has won the York River Symphony Orchestra Young Artist Concerto Competition on Sunday, November 19. She will perform Zigeunerweisen Op. 20 by Pablo de Sarasate with the orchestra in March 2018. Stafford also recently received an honorable mention at the Williamsburg Youth Orchestra Concerto Competition. Alisha is a violin student of Andréa Picard Boecker.
