Soprano Christine Lyons (MM ’16, Voice) won the Grand Prize in the Mary Trueman Art Song Competition and subsequently will be presented in recital in New York with pianist Tom Muraco in May of 2019. She also won a Grant Award from The Gerda Lissner Foundation in their Song/Lieder Competition and will be presented in a winner’s recital at the Liederkranz Foundation in New York in November.
