Harmony of Virginia, founded by Shelley Greene (BM ’92, Harp), was selected a 2021 A-List Wedding Vendor by Richmond Magazine and one of three Top Wedding Industry Vendors in the Best Service Provider for Small or Backyard Weddings Category and in the LGBTQ-Friendly Vendor Category. Harmony of Virginia has been offering live music for virtual weddings as well as in-person events. Greene founded Harmony Of Virginia, a company for her services as a soloist harpist that promotes and facilitates the hiring of other professional African-American musicians.
