Bobby Ge (MM ’20, Composition) and Daniel Reza Sabzghabaei (MM ’17, Composition) have been selected as the grand prize winners of the New York Youth Symphony’s (NYYS) First Music Commission in the orchestra and chamber music categories, respectively. They will be composing new works to be premiered by the NYYS in Carnegie Hall and the Interlochen Center for the Arts in the 2022-23 season.
