MIATp, the New Orleans-based duo of saxophonist Alan Theisen and mezzo-soprano and professional studies lecturer Megan Ihnen (MM ’09, Voice), recently released its second EP, The Before Times, and performed at Tulane University’s Music at Midday Concert Series September 27 2023 and at the University of North Georgia’s Research on Contemporary Composition Conference October 28, 2023.
