Jonathan Wagstaff performed as a Britten-Pears Young Artist

Jonathan Wagstaff, a Master of Music candidate studying with Steve Rainbolt, performed the role of Tirésie in Jean-Philippe Rameau’s opera Naïs, as a Britten-Pears Young Artist in the Snape Proms in the UK. The opera was conducted by the renowned French-baroque harpsichordist and director Christophe Rousset.  

Michael Compitello joins faculty at Cornell University and UMass Amherst

Laura Virella (BM ’03, Voice) was chosen to sing in a master class with Christa Ludwig, where she was interviewed by a reporter from the Kleine Zeitung newspaper.
