Daniel Levitov performed with the Pazardjik Symphony
In January 2013, Daniel Levitov performed Darius Milhaud’s Cello Concerto No. 2 with the Pazardjik Symphony Orchestra in Bulgaria. This performance was broadcast on local television and a concert recording was made. This project was partially funded by a Preparatory Faculty Development Grant.
Danya Katok will perform at Pete’s Candy Store
Danya Katok (MM ’09, Voice) will perform with cellist Julia Biber at the Classical at Pete’s concert series at Pete’s Candy Store in Brooklyn on April 11. The concert will feature John Tavener’s Akhmatova Songs, Lembit Beecher’s Three Songs of Remembered Love, and the world premiere of James Sproul’s The End.
