Alyssa Katahara received Interlochen scholarship

Harpist Alyssa Katahara, a student of Michaela Trnkova, was the winner of the Interlochen Summer Arts Camp concerto competition, and performed Debussy’s Danses sacrée et profane with the World Youth Symphony on June 30.  Alyssa also received a coveted merit scholarship to the Interlochen Arts Academy for 2013-2014.

Bob Parker won WHAS11 Excel award
