Thomas Dolby Gives Talk on His Memoir The Speed of Sound on May 2

Homewood Professor of the Arts and recording arts faculty member Thomas Dolby will give a talk on his memoir The Speed of Sound: Breaking the Barriers Between Music and Technology on Tuesday, May 2, at 6:00 pm, at JHU’s Mason Hall Auditorium as a part of the Friends of the Johns Hopkins University Libraries. The Speed of Sound highlights Mr. Dolby’s career at the intersection of music and technology, including his rise to the top of the music charts, a second act as a tech pioneer, and the sustaining power of creativity and art.
