QUIXOTE by Amy Beth Kirsten Featured on NJTV’s State of the Arts

IMG_4897State of the Arts, a half-hour television show that airs on NJTV recently featured QUIXOTE, a bold re-imagining of the Cervantes classic for voice and percussion by faculty artist Amy Beth Kirsten (DMA ’10, Composition) and director-designer-performer Mark DeChiazza, performed by Sandbox Percussion – Victor Caccese (BM ’11, Percussion), Terry Sweeney (BM ’13, Percussion), and Ian Rosenbaum (BM ’08, Percussion), and Jonathan Allen– in collaboration with HOWL ensemble. State of the Arts goes behind the scenes to document QUIXOTE in rehearsal and to demonstrate the many ways the artists and scholars who created the production interfaced with students and faculty members across campus at Montclair State University.
