Faculty artist and alumna Ah Young Hong (BM ’98, MM ’01, Voice) will be giving two concerts at the beginning of October. The first will take place on October 4, and will feature songs by Hugo Wolf, Samuel Barber, Alban Berg, and John Corigliano. The second concert will happen two days later, on October 6, and will feature the world premiere of “Susanne un jour” and “Rake forth the Embers,” which were written by Peabody faculty member Michael Hersch. Other features on this concert include György Kurtág and Dmitri Shostakovich. Both concerts will take place at the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn.
