Peabody’s La Obra and Classical Revolution present Music for Puerto Rico. Organized by Louna Dekker-Vargas (KSAS, BA ’15, Sociology; BM ’17, Flute), this local concert will feature Peabody ensembles, including String Sinfonia, Trio Jinx, a jazz combo, and others. All proceeds from the evening will be sent to UNIDOS, an organization that provides hurricane relief. The program features speaker Armando Bayolo and Latino and classical music. The concert will take place on Sunday, October 29 at 7:00 pm at Emmanuel Episcopal Church. Entrance donations are $10 and up, and a Latino reception will follow the performance.
