Peabody Opera Outreach will present an open dress rehearsal for their children’s program Where in the World is Opera? this Saturday, December 2, at 11:00 am, in the Peabody Conservatory Opera Studio. Where in the World is Opera? is a 35-minute interactive program that demonstrates a wide variety of musical vocabulary and introduces students to the world of opera, including where it is found in the United States (and Baltimore) today. The program integrates elements from the World Geography Curriculum by exploring music and culture from many different parts of the globe through music by Mozart, Massenet, Rodgers and Hammerstein, and more.
