Second-year DMA composition student Zach Gulaboff Davis has been named a national finalist for the 2018 American Prize in Composition, student division, for his work Sonata for Two Pianos. This work received its premiere at the Manhattan School of Music in January 2017. Davis was also selected as the 2018 Composition Fellow at the Brevard Summer Institute, a position he will serve this year. Davis is a student of Kevin Puts.
