Soprano Christine Lyons (MM ’16, Voice) will be featured in concert as a winner of 2017 Discovery Art Song Competition presented by Vocal Arts DC on Thursday, January 4, at 6:00 pm, at the Millennium Stage of the John F. Kennedy for the Performing Arts. Lyons and tenor John Matthew Myers will perform a varied program of art songs in different languages and styles including selections by Berlioz, Debussy, Fauré, Chausson, Liszt, Argento, Weill, Gershwin, and more.
