Baltimore School of Music Director James Lowe (MM ’09, GPD ’12, Guitar) will launch a new concert series, “Bach in the Brewery.” The first concert will take place on Saturday, May 12, at 8:00 pm, at Monument Brewing Company in Baltimore, Md. The concert will feature Lowe, guitar, and Teresa Perez Shirley-Quirk on cello. Music by Satie, Paganini, Friedrich Burgmüller, and a premiere of a new work by Alexa Rinn will all be featured. Lowe plans to launch a full concert season in 2018-19, taking place at different breweries in the area. The concert is for ages 21 and over and will also feature a special VIP ticket option that includes a pre-concert brewery tour and beer tasting.
